Why Sure Not?

Tori Selznick and Krysti Adams Season 2 Episode 39

Tori leads off with Tennessee State Prison and it’s lovely history. Like most old prisons, this was a place of punishment, not rehabilitation, and brutal as hell. This jail has been partially blown up, held hostage, rioted, and to finish it out a class action lawsuit. The last inmate left in 1992 and the place has been in several movies including The Green Mile. In 2020 a tornado destroyed most of the complex but spooky shit abounded. Krys covers Hotel Jerome in Aspen, CO. The president of Macy’s Department Store, Jerome Wheeler, showed up in Aspen in the 1880s and poured money into several businesses including the Hotel Jerome. This hotel was supposed to rival the Ritz in Paris. This hotel changed hands many times and continued to house guests till this day, some of which will never leave. Tori comes back with Kirkwin, WY, a bona fide ghost town. Sounded like Tori was tired while telling this story. Also Schitzel? Schnitzel? One of those names…#orbsarebullshit Bring out the cemetery, El Campo Santo Cemetery in San Diego. Yet again #youwantghosts
